Refund & Cancellation Policy

Please read this policy carefully to understand when an appointment cancellation may qualify for a refund.
DocCareHub is a booking platform that connects patients with independent doctors in Dera Ismail Khan. This policy explains when a consultation fee paid through our platform is eligible for a refund.
1. Patient-Initiated Cancellation
- If you cancel an appointment before the doctor confirms it, you are eligible for a full refund of the consultation fee paid online.
- If you cancel after the doctor has confirmed the appointment but at least a reasonable time before the scheduled slot, you are eligible for a full refund.
- Refunds are not available for a missed appointment (no-show) where no cancellation was made in advance.
2. Doctor-Initiated Cancellation
If a doctor cancels, marks an appointment as a no-show in error, or is unavailable at the confirmed time, you are entitled to a full refund of the amount paid for that appointment.
3. Cash Payments
If you selected to pay the consultation fee in cash directly at the doctor's clinic, no online refund applies since no online payment was collected. Any dispute should be resolved directly with the clinic, or you may contact us for assistance.
4. Follow-up Appointments
Rebooked or rescheduled follow-up appointments carry the same fee/discount as originally agreed and follow the same cancellation rules above.
5. Refund Processing Time
Approved refunds for online payments are returned to the original payment method (card, bank account, or mobile wallet) through our payment gateway partner, typically within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or wallet provider's processing time.
6. How to Request a Refund
Cancel your appointment from the "My Appointments" section of your account before the eligibility window closes, and any due refund will be processed automatically.
